The Tocai Friulano Vigna Petrussa is among the “Autoctoni” of the company that is brilliantly handled by Hilde Petrussa Mecchia since 1995, the company led by Hilde covers an area of 8 hectares, of which 6.5 are under vine. What is striking about Vigna Petrussa is the care with which to Hilde proceeded to rearrange the vines, focusing on those natives decided, as Tocai Friulano, combined with technological integration in the full respect of the tradition and culture of the local history. The quality of this Tocai Friulano is guaranteed by the strict vineyard management, the continuous thinning of the clusters of the vine, which reduces the yield per hectare, but that enhances the concentrations of aromatic and structural wine and manual harvesting in the period of full and perfect maturation. Hilde is one of the top "Women of Wine" Italian, has been able to dive into this world renovating the small family vineyard located at Albana di Prepotto. In his whole vineyard has its own function, such as roses that were once implanted in the head of the rows because they were subject to, in advance, to the same diseases of the vine and now have a decorative function. Elements that bring this Tocai Friulano to have a bright yellow color and bright, light and delicate scent of wildflowers with an almond finish, with a fresh, full, harmonious and persistent.
