Soave Classico 'Monte Fiorentine' Ca' Rugate 2014

The Soave Classico "Monte Fiorentine" by Ca' Rugate tells the story of a territory from the old world charm and a family that makes the wine a passion from the beginning of the twentieth century. Was Amedeo Tessari, said "Midéo", to start selling wine family purchased the inn; the real turning point came with the end of the eighties when Fulvio, Amedeo and Giovanni give life to Ca' Rugate, continuing the work that their father had always dreamed. The Soave Classico "Monte Florentine" is one example; Garganega in purity cultivated in the vineyards of Monte Fiorentine, north of the hill and Rugate Brognoligo of Monteforte d'Alpone, on volcanic soils and rich in minerals. Is harvested in mid-October and vinified in white with a steel fermentation for 10-15 days, but the winery recommends to let him rest in the cellar for at least another 18 months to give him that complexity that is able to give out after this period. The features are typical of Soave: straw yellow color, fine and delicate nose of tropical fruit and citrus, soft taste, fruity and persistent.
