Rosso del Soprano, which is produced from grapes of the native vines, is a charming and elegant wine that holds flavors and delicious and pervasive ancient fragrances. Produced in the area of Messina since the fourteenth century B.C., the Rosso del Soprano ceased almost the production with the advent of Arabs. The expulsion of the Arabs resumed the production of wine, but suffered another stop with the arrival of phylloxera at the beginning of last century.
