Giacomo Fenocchio's Nebbiolo is the authentic expression of the passion that binds a family of winemakers, since five generations settled in the heart of the Langhe, to this grape variety with an unequaled symbolic value for this territory. Claudio Fenocchio is the soul of the company, carried out with the help of his brothers Alberto and Albino, within the beautiful estate of Monforte d'Alba that dominates the famous hills of Bussia. The central objective is to produce classical wines, impeccably faithful to the genuine expression of the terroir. For this reason, considerable attention is poured in the operations in the vineyard, with a very limited use of products impacting the environment. The crus of Bussia, Villero and Cannubi are among the most prolific in the history of Nebbiolo, in an ideal geographical triangle that joins the beautiful scenarios of Monforte d'Alba, Barolo and Castiglione Falletto. The vineyards are all constituted by old plants, with an average age ranging from twenty to sixty years, while the most strategic positions for exposure and altitude are precisely reserved for Nebbiolo. In comparison with the great production of Barolo, Nebbiolo by Fenocchio is a worthy relative with a very fine drinkability, sweet tannins, a pulpy structure and a distinct minerality. Nothing, therefore, inferior to the magnificent performers of the genre: Nebbiolo by Fenocchio is a clear example of how the varied Langhe expression also passes through a smaller denomination, offering a unique and distinctive performance.
