“San Jacopo” is the traditional expression of the Chianti Classico, a wine aged in big barrels, a perfect and meticolous expression of this terroir. It takes his name from an ancient farmhouse located near to the vineyard, in the heart of Chianti hills.
The Chianti Classico “San Jacopo” is born from grapes of Sangiovese, combined with small percentages of Canaiolo and Colorino, cultivated on a soil full of marl and clay, with rocks. The aging in big barrels ensures a classic style with good structure and seductive freshness.
The Chianti Classico “San Jacopo” has a flavor personality made of humus, undergrowth, cherry and notes of aromatic herbs. The palate is soft, intense and warm, very juicy, with a fine tannic fabric. No tearing, no imperfection … a clear Chianti Classico, very elegant.
