It was in fact in 1890 that Leonildo Pieropan, a doctor from the town of Soave, decided to start trying his hand at wine production, starting from the family-owned vineyards. A path made of hard work and passion, which today sees in Leonildo, grandson of the founder, the figure who managed to make Pieropan a modern and technological winery; a cutting-edge structure, where the \u003cstrong\u003eancient farming traditions\u003c\/strong\u003e are never forgotten, however, but on the contrary they always represent the base from which to create authentic labels, just like this Soave.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eSoave Classico is a DOC white wine that the Pieropan winery makes by adding 10% Trebbiano di Soave to 90% Garganega. \u003cstrong\u003eTwo traditional grape varieties\u003c\/strong\u003e of the area, which grow in vineyards of volcanic origin at an elevation between 100 and 300 meters above sea level. The carefully selected grapes ferment at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees in vitrified cement tanks, where they remain to age on the fine lees until the following spring, when bottling is scheduled.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThis Pieropan-branded Soave Classico presents itself to the eye with a straw-yellow color, crossed by light greenish reflections. The scents that envelop the nose are very intense with a \u003cstrong\u003efloral clean notes\u003c\/strong\u003e. On the palate it is slender-bodied, light, with a fully satisfying sip that has excellent flavor; it finishes with a finish characterized by a slight almondy aftertaste.
